The greatest lesson of Esther isn't that she became queen. It's who she became after she did. As the story closes, we're invited to consider whether God is preparing us not only for influence, but to steward it with humility.

In Esther 7–8, authority is transferred from Haman to Esther and Mordecai. Though the first decree could not be revoked, the king entrusted them to write a new one in his name. This devotional explores what it means to walk in the authority of the King rather than our own strength.
